1882, Xuzhou Taoist Cheng Jingzhi was ordered by Zuo Zongtang to send Hu Enxie, a candidate magistrate of Nanjing, to raise business shares and set up Xuzhou Liguo Mining Bureau.
1898, the mine was moved to jiawang and renamed as "jiawang coal mine company".
193 1 year, Liu Hongsheng, a Shanghai capitalist, and Jiawang Coal Mine jointly established "East China Coal Co., Ltd.".
1938, the Japanese army occupied East China Coal Co., Ltd., and the Japanese Qi Teng Bizhou became the mine manager and changed its name to "Liu Quan Charcoal Mine".
1945, Japan declared its unconditional surrender, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the National Government appointed Xu Jiliang as the receiving Commissioner to receive minerals and restore the name of "East China Coal Company Limited".
1948, after the victory of Huaihai Campaign, Xuzhou was temporarily managed by Shandong Province because Jiangsu Province was not completely liberated. Shandong Mining Bureau took over East China Coal Co., Ltd. and renamed it "Jiawang Coal Mine of Shandong Mining Bureau".
1953, Xuzhou was officially placed under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, and Shandong Province handed over Jiawang Coal Mine to Jiangsu Province to establish Jiawang Mining Bureau.
1958, with the approval of Jiangsu provincial Committee and Xuzhou prefectural Committee, Xuzhou Coal Mining Bureau was established.
1959, Xuzhou Coal Mining Bureau was renamed as "Xuzhou Mining Bureau".
From 1953 to 1970, Xuzhou Mining Bureau changed its owners several times, and it was transferred to the former Ministry of Coal twice, and then to Jiangsu Province from the former Ministry of Coal.
1On May 28th, 998, with the approval of Jiangsu provincial government, Xuzhou Mining Bureau was restructured into Xuzhou Mining Group Co., Ltd..
