I think reading newspapers and periodicals is like reading contemporary literary works by scientists and records by archaeologists by poets. Reading is because you like it, but reading is out of interest. There is a good saying: "Reading can't change the length of life, but it can change the width of life." It is this interest in reading that makes my life colorful.
Reading newspapers and periodicals has become a habit of mine. My favorite thing to do in primary school is to read all kinds of newspapers, from children's newspapers subscribed by my parents to some news newspapers, and then I burst into tears. I'm in a hurry: what can I do? Trouble! I rushed to the faucet to wash it, but I tried my best and the ink stains couldn't be wiped off. Just when I was in a hurry, my eyes inadvertently fell on the knowledge newspaper on the table. I patted my forehead. I just saw it! As mentioned above, if there are ink stains on clothes, you can rub them with rice grains, soak them in soapy water, and then rinse them with clean water. Why don't I practice! So, I grabbed the shirt stained with ink, ran to the kitchen, scooped up a spoonful of rice, poured it on the stain and wiped it hard. After a while, the ink really faded, and after a while, there was only a copper trace in the ink. I washed it with soapy water and clean water and wrung it out. I gave it to my neighbor's children and said, "When I went back to dry it, I could hardly see any traces, so I could wear it." He stared at me with surprised eyes and asked me, "How do you know that rice can wash away ink stains?" I proudly said, "The newspaper told me!"
Reading newspapers and periodicals has increased my knowledge. Because of children's newspapers, I found that there are so many stories in the world.
