According to the "Announcement on the Issuance of Temporary Import Tariff Quotas for Brazilian White Sugar" jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation, enterprises can enjoy the preferential policies of temporary import tariff quotas when purchasing Brazilian white sugar, that is, they are exempt from import tariff quotas. Duties and VAT will be levied and VAT paid will be refunded.
