Hebei University of Economics and Business is a key university in Hebei Province. It is a multidisciplinary university of finance and economics, which focuses on economy, management and law, supplemented by literature, science, engineering and art.
The school was formed by the merger of Hebei Institute of Finance and Economics, Hebei Institute of Economics and Trade and Hebei Business School. It has a history of 68 years. The school is divided into three campuses: North, South and West. The school was awarded the title of "National Greening Model Unit".

The school attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation, and has maintained long-term exchanges and cooperation with universities and other educational institutions in more than 50 countries including the United States, Britain, Italy, Australia and South Korea.
