1, Wuhan Iron and Steel Group Corporation started construction on 1955, and was completed and put into operation on1September, 958 13. It is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly under the central government and the State Council State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Our factory is located in the eastern suburb of Wuhan, Hubei Province, on the south bank of the Yangtze River, covering an area of 2 1. 17 square kilometers. 2. Baotou Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest iron and steel industrial bases built after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Construction began in 1954 and was put into operation in 1959. Premier Zhou Enlai personally cut the ribbon for tapping 1 blast furnace in Baotou Steel. Baotou Steel has two listed companies, namely "Baotou Steel Co., Ltd." and "Baotou Steel Rare Earth". It is one of the main rail production bases in China, one of the seamless steel pipe production bases, and the largest plate production base in North China. It is also the originator of the world rare earth industry and the largest rare earth research and production base.
