Up to now, nearly 800 students from five sessions have taken part in the study, with students from five northwestern provinces. Many Beijing experts, such as Zhang Zhifeng, Fan Yongliang, Tian Ming, Julia and Guo Shoujie, have come to the hospital to guide the examination training and give intensive lectures before the exam. This project has become the only educational institution in Gansu Province and even the western region to conduct full-time CPA examination and training. According to incomplete statistics, 186 people have obtained relevant qualifications such as certified public accountants or certified tax agents. With the development and perfection of the socialist market economy, it is an indisputable fact that there is a shortage of tax-related service talents. Taking the opportunity of the national certified tax accountant qualification examination as an opportunity, the college held an amateur seminar on the certified tax accountant qualification examination with the approval of Gansu Certified Tax Accountant Management Center in 2000. In 2003, under the background of energy level management in the local tax system of the whole province, the college cooperated with the pilot unit Xigu Local Taxation Bureau to hold the qualification examination training for certified tax agents, further expanding the social impact of certified tax agents' qualifications. After eight years' development, the college has established a specialized education and training mode featuring the examination and training of certified public accountants, the examination and training of accounting professional qualifications and technical qualifications as the basic projects, and the examination and training of certified tax agents as the important projects.

While actively promoting the training of accounting and taxation talents, with the goal of enhancing the social service function of the college, 1999, the college successively joined forces with Shaanxi Normal University and Northwest University to set up Lanzhou Correspondence Station of Shaanxi Normal University and Gansu Correspondence Station of Northwest University to carry out correspondence education for normal adults. In 2003, in view of the contradiction between a wide range of students and a tight plan for teachers' colleges, the Gansu Correspondence Station of Qinghai Normal University was established with the approval of the education departments of Gansu and Qinghai provinces. Due to the high quality of education and scientific management, the three stations have successfully enrolled five students, and there are more than 800 registered students. Faced with the single way for front-line teachers to upgrade their academic qualifications, the College once again cooperated with Shaanxi Normal University to set up Lanzhou Learning Center for Modern Distance Education in Shaanxi Normal University, making full use of the excellent teaching resources of Shaanxi Normal University to promote the development of modern distance education in Gansu, with more than 600 registered distance education students. The college develops adult higher education with the principle of "steady development, expanding scale, standardizing management and improving quality", and has become an important new force in Gansu Province to undertake adult normal college education.
