Chengdu Xinjin County Hong Kong and Macao Pass Application Process:

(1) The applicant and the Hong Kong and Macao related person *** submit the application to the acceptance agency (Xinjin County Public Security Bureau Exit and Entry Administration Department) Materials, interviews and inquiries.

(2) The acceptance agency will issue a "Reply Receipt for Acceptance of Application for Pass to Hong Kong and Macao" to the applicant if the application materials are complete and in legal form; if the application materials are incomplete or do not comply with the legal form, , inform the applicant in writing of all the materials that need to be supplemented and the deadline for submission; for applications that do not fall within the scope of the department’s responsibilities or do not meet the acceptance requirements, the application will not be accepted and the reasons will be explained to the applicant.

(3) For applications that meet the application conditions and meet the approval score, the review department shall publicize the list of personnel at the reception venue of the exit and entry management department of the public security organ responsible for acceptance and review, and accept public supervision. The publicity content includes the applicant’s name, gender, date of birth, reason for application, score, etc. The publicity time is 10 working days.

(4) The review and approval personnel shall conduct review and approval in order based on the review situation and the applicant’s score. If mainland residents are approved to settle in Hong Kong or Macau, the approval department will issue a "Notice of Approval for Mainland Residents to Apply to Settl in Hong Kong/Macau" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice of Approval of Settlement") for the applicant. The applicant can present the "Notice of Approval of Settlement" to the applicant. Go through the procedures for canceling household registration and canceling resident identity card. If it is disapproved, a "Decision Letter of Disapproval of Mainland Residents' Application to Settlement in Hong Kong/Macau" will be issued.

(5) The applicant shall go through the procedures of canceling the household registration and canceling the resident ID card with the approval notice. The exit and entry administration department of the public security organ will issue the applicant a pass to Hong Kong and Macao based on the proof of household registration cancellation and resident identity card cancellation submitted by the applicant, and will confiscate or cancel the valid entry and exit documents for mainland residents in accordance with the law.
