However, this person is open-minded and loyal to Shuhan Group, so he was also valued during his tenure in Shu Han. In the early days, Yang Hong was appointed as a county gongcao. Because he was at odds with the prefect during his tenure, he was later transferred to the Shu Department.
Yang Hong was highly valued by Zhuge Liang during his service in Shu Han Dynasty. He served as the prefect of Shu County, engaged in Yizhou Zhizhong, loyal general, and a captain of Yueqi. The greatest achievement of Yang Hong's life was that during the period when Liu Bei was seriously ill, he led the pro-soldiers of the Prince's Mansion to cooperate with the generals to quell the rebellion of Huang Yuan, the satrap of Han Jia. In the later period of Shuhan Group, Jiang Wei made several expeditions to the North. zhang yi thought that Jiang Wei's move would only waste national strength, which was not conducive to the overall stability. On this issue, the two men once had a fierce dispute in the court, and their relationship became increasingly alienated. However, when Wei Jun entered Shu, zhang yi was in solidarity with Jiang Wei and others, dealing with the enemy, and finally surrendered to Cao Wei after receiving the imperial edict from the late Lord Liu Chan.
