Yantai University History Museum is on the first floor of Shaw Library. Because it is the history exhibition hall of Yantai University, it was designed and built to commemorate its 30th anniversary. It is located on the first floor of Shaw Library, with an area of about 800 square meters. It is divided into three parts: creation, achievement and prospect. Through a large number of words, pictures and objects, the exhibition hall fully shows the course of the rapid development of the school in the past 30 years with the cordial care of party committees and governments at all levels, the long-term aid and help of Peking University and Tsinghua University, and the full support of the people of Yanwei and all walks of life, as well as the main achievements of the school construction and development. Yantai University, referred to as Yanda University for short, is located in Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is a key comprehensive university in Shandong Province, a "first-class discipline" construction unit in Shandong Province, and a key construction university under the education and training plan of excellent legal talents, excellent engineers and famous schools with Shandong characteristics of the Ministry of Education.
