Linhe District is located in the middle of Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in the hinterland of Hetao Plain, above the bend of the Yellow River Linhe District, facing the Ordos Plateau across the river in the south, Yinshan Mountain in the north and Wulate Grassland in the east. It is the political, economic, cultural, transportation and information center of Bayannaoer City.
