English 1: Candidates are required to be proficient in using basic grammar knowledge, and there is no specific requirement for grammar knowledge.

2, vocabulary memory part requirements are different:

(3) The scope of vocabulary investigation is different. "The amount of new words does not exceed 3% of the total vocabulary of the materials read" has been removed from the English II syllabus.
3. Different reading subjects, genres, vocabulary and option settings:
(1) There are clear restrictions on the theme and genre of English II. Candidates should be able to read written materials with different themes and genres, including economy, management, society, culture, popular science, etc., and genres include expository, argumentative and narrative.
(2) The investigation of ability reduces the relevant requirements. In English 2, the two clauses "understanding the conceptual meaning of the text" and "distinguishing arguments from arguments" have been deleted.
(3) In addition, "make relevant judgments, inferences and extensions" (extension is not required in English II)
4. The categories of new questions are very different.
5. Some translation questions and grading standards are different. English 1: the ability to translate five sentences from a paragraph and accurately understand English written materials with complex concepts or structures. English 2: the ability to translate a few short paragraphs, understand the given English language materials and translate them into Chinese.
6. Different writing scores and types. The alternative questions, word requirements and scores of the composition part of English I and English II are the same.
