How to calibrate the pressure transmitter
Pressure transmitter is a commonly used industrial automation instrument, which is used to measure and transmit pressure signals. In order to ensure the measurement accuracy and stability of pressure transmitter, it is necessary to calibrate it regularly. The following will introduce the calibration method and steps of pressure transmitter.

First, the appearance inspection

Check the appearance of the pressure transmitter. Observe whether the transmitter shell is damaged or cracked, whether the dial is clearly visible, and whether the components are tightly connected. If problems are found, they should be repaired or replaced in time.

Second, zero calibration.

Zero calibration is to adjust the output signal of pressure transmitter to zero. Firstly, connect the measuring port of the pressure transmitter with the atmosphere, and then adjust the zero adjustment knob of the transmitter until the output signal is zero.

Third, range calibration.

Range calibration refers to adjusting the output signal of pressure transmitter to standard pressure. In the calibration process, it is necessary to use a standard pressure source, input the standard pressure signal into the measuring port of the pressure transmitter, and then adjust the range adjustment knob of the transmitter until the output signal is consistent with the standard pressure signal.

Fourthly, precision calibration.

Accuracy calibration is to check whether the measurement accuracy of pressure transmitter meets the requirements. Input standard signals of different pressures into the measuring port of the pressure transmitter, and observe whether the output signal of the transmitter is consistent with the standard pressure signal. If the error is found to exceed the standard, it should be adjusted or maintained in time.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) temperature compensation

Temperature compensation is to consider the influence of temperature on pressure transmitter. At different temperatures, the output signal of the pressure transmitter may be biased. Therefore, it is necessary to calibrate the pressure transmitter at a specific temperature to ensure its measurement accuracy.

To sum up, the calibration of pressure transmitter needs to follow certain steps, including visual inspection, zero calibration, range calibration, accuracy calibration and temperature compensation. Regular calibration can ensure the accuracy and stability of pressure transmitter measurement, thus improving the quality and efficiency of industrial automation control.
