Make a slideshow in three steps: Powerpoint 2007 application example

This article takes making a simple slideshow as an example to introduce the latest MS Office PowerPoint 2007 beta 2 (hereinafter referred to as PPT ) improvements.

First, let’s take a look at the process of making PPT:

1. Add main content: text and pictures, etc.;

2. Set the appearance;

The new version of PPT has changed greatly. Needless to say, the beautiful appearance and new tabs can greatly improve work efficiency. Operations have also been greatly improved. Just apply a theme and change the color scheme according to the situation, and you can create a PPT with your own style in two steps.

Let’s take a look at the author’s process of making a simple PPT.

1. Add content

Add the content that needs to be told to the slide.

The first page is the cover, "Click to add title" (click to add title), click the range within the dotted box to add a title. "Click to add subtitle" (click to add subtitle), fill in the subtitle here. If yes, fill it in; if not, leave this text box alone. When the text box is not filled with content, it will be displayed as "Click to add...", but it will be blank during playback.

After filling in the first sheet, right-click on the left column and select the New Slide command. Add new slide.

The second page is different from the first page. The two text boxes are for filling in the title ( title) and text (text). You can tell based on the sizes of the two text boxes. The smaller one is filled with the title, and the larger one is filled with the main content.

Note that the square color picture in Figure 5 is actually a combination of 6 insert buttons. From left to right, from top to bottom, the order is to insert tables, icons, clipart, pictures, SmartArt Graphic (like no Chinese name, a new feature in Office 2007) and movie animations.

This reflects the design concept of Office 2007 - more user-friendly (easier) and better able to improve work efficiency.

You can also select the Insert tag and Add Slide button to add slides with different layouts.

2. Set appearance

This is the most exciting improvement in PPT 2007. Select the Design tab, move the mouse over each picture of Themes, and you can preview the earth-shaking changes.

Please pay attention to the figure The slide layout on the left side of 8 and 9 has a different appearance for each slide with different layouts. This is the Theme feature.

This feature will not only add a background to the slide, set the font format, but also apply different styles of the same theme (Theme) according to different slide layouts (Layout). Wonderful!

After adding the theme, if you are not satisfied, you can also change the color scheme. Yes, it's a color scheme, rather than individually changing the color of a certain part of the text. There is a corresponding relationship between various parts of the entire slide. When the mouse moves to a certain color scheme, you can preview the actual color scheme. The same is true for Theme.

The benefits of this new feature are obvious.

The new version also adds a function called "SmartArt Graphic". This feature makes it easy to create a variety of different diagrams. All you need to do is to select a schematic diagram of a certain shape, fill in the content, and then change its color scheme to easily create a satisfactory effect.

3. Add animation

This Not much to say, there are no exciting new features added in PPT 2007.

Summary:

PPT 2007 is commendable in terms of user interface (User Interface) and theme (Theme).

During use, you can deeply appreciate the benefits of the new user interface - to perform a function, at least one or two mouse clicks are saved compared to the previous version; coupled with a powerful preview, it makes production much easier.

With systematic themes, color schemes, etc., formatting the entire slideshow is a piece of cake.

The new version increases the role of online functions. When using Clip Art and Theme, you can directly access resources shared by others online. Downloaded resources can be applied to documents with just a few mouse clicks.

Considering the many improvements, “exciting” is not an overstatement to describe the new version!
