Who can apply for PR? This problem is often mentioned by everyone. In fact, education, salary and age will not be the limiting factors for applying for PR, but only affect the application of PR to some extent. In Singapore, whether a foreigner can apply for PR mainly depends on his current status:
1. Spouses of Singapore citizens /PR and children under the age of 2 1.
2. Parents of Singapore citizens
3.EP and SP permit holders
4. Investors (such as Entrepass holders, 2.5 million investment immigrants, etc.)
Third, matters needing attention
1.WP permit holders are not allowed to apply for PR alone, but if their spouse is SC/PR/EP/SP, they can apply for guarantee.
2. Neither the companion permit nor the student permit holder can apply for PR unless any of the above four conditions are met.
Note: The following processes are all analyzed with EP permit holders as examples.
