What is the real Jun porcelain of the Northern Song Dynasty?
Jun porcelain tires in the Northern Song Dynasty were slightly thicker, denser and grayer. Firing first, then glazing. The glaze is very thick, with moonlight, azure and sky blue as the basic colors. The copper molecules in the glaze are purple after reduction at high temperature. The bottom of Song Jun porcelain is full of glaze, and the ring is full of sesame sauce color.
Due to the thick glaze surface and rolling during calcination, the weight of metal molecules contained in the glaze is different, some float on the surface and some sink at the bottom of the glaze. When cooling, the glaze shrinks at different temperatures, often leaving irregular traces of thin lines flowing, which is called "earthworms walk in the mud" by later generations. Most Jun porcelains in the Song Dynasty have "earthworms get rid of mud", which is an important basis for identification.
