On July 8, some media broke the news. The Internet Information Office notified a number of online lending apps for illegally collecting personal information, including 360 IOUs and a number of online lending apps, which were required to be removed from some app stores. Up to now, Huawei mobile phones and some Android mobile app stores such as Xiaomi and Vivo have removed a number of loan apps, and Apple mobile phones can be downloaded normally so far. The reason for the removal was that on May 29, the National Network Information Office reported that 84 online loan apps illegally collected and used personal information that was not up to standard.
According to the illegal loan app notified by the Internet Information Office, it is suspected that the user's personal information, family information, mobile phone address book information and personal information unrelated to the loan business are collected privately without the consent of the platform users, so that they can re-formulate the rectification plan and step up rectification.
At present, according to the response of 360 staff, users who have registered 360 IOUs can still provide normal loan services.
