And 1988- 1993 is the pinnacle of beyond's music career, and its music has been warmly welcomed in Japan, China, Taiwan Province Province, China, Hongkong and Singapore! Unfortunately ... On June 24th, Ka Kui Wong accidentally fell from a 3-meter-high platform in a TV program of Fuji TV 1993, and died of serious injuries ... Ka Kui Wong asked himself to write meaningful songs and words, and he did not hesitate to sail to the poorest and backward place in Africa with three other beyond members, and wrote Days of Our Lives and AMANI! So please don't call beyond's music pop music. Beyond has been trying to make his own music from the first day of its establishment to its dissolution! Hong Kong people have always attached great importance to this band, even though Ka Kui Wong's misfortune and the dissolution of the band hit! Ka Kui Wong and Ye Shirong were in different bands before they formed BEYOND. Later, I found that everyone's music preferences were similar, so I formed BEYOND. Later, BEYOND participated in the Yamagata Guitar Competition held by Guitar magazine and won the first prize. The winning songs are included in the album named Hong Kong. In this game, besides Ka Kui and Rong Shi, some members left the team. After participating in the creation of the song "Hong Kong", Ka Kui Wong's younger brother formally participated in "Beyond".

From the end of 1983 to 1984, BEYOND mainly participated in the performances of some bands and began to try to create more works. The works that had been completed at that time included Rowen Without Friends. This work was later changed into a Chinese work "Oriental Treasure" in the album "Arabian Dancer". The English version is included in the "Lonely Kiss" cassette. There is also a song called "My", and the above two songs are also English songs. Later, I also finished some Chinese songs, such as Forever Waiting.

At this time, due to reading problems, Chen Shian had to leave BEYOND, and Paul formally joined BEYOND as a designer, became a guitarist and served as a band designer. BEYOND held a "Forever Waiting Concert" at Caritas Centre on Hong Kong Island at its own expense. Although the fans present on that day were not enthusiastic, their enthusiasm remained. Beyond invited many record companies to watch it, but none of them came. Fortunately, all the people who should have come-Chen Jiantian, the first manager of ——Beyond-have held back their cooperation in the next five years and the subsequent legal disputes. Everything before and after the concert was done by themselves. They even borrowed 1.6 million RMB from the bank to hold it smoothly, but in the end they lost 6,000 RMB. At that time, their labor force was only 1 thousand yuan, which showed their determination. Their idea at that time was to introduce their works to other friends in the form of public performances. More optimistically, they hope to make some money through this concert to pay for the publication of tapes in the future. At that time, it was a bold and confident attempt.

After completing the "Goodbye Ideal" cassette, the next step is to start publicity work, put up posters, distribute leaflets, find a record store for consignment, delivery and collection. It is really hard work for them, but as long as their music is known to more people, they are still willing to bear it. They borrowed 20,000 yuan from their friends. Fortunately, they made money, and each of them got 240 yuan's bonus. Although the amount is small, it is very encouraging for them. After the band was released, BEYOND signed a contract with Kinn‘s Music Ltd They held a two-night small-scale performance called "Dissection Party" at the Central Art Sui Association in Hong Kong. At that time, BEYOND was the leader of an underground band in the eyes of a group of underground fans. Everyone has different expectations for them to leave the independent band, but BEYOND knows that this will be the point of no return for their music. Through this gathering, BEYOND hopes that fans can understand their situation and make a musical watershed for the former Beyond and the future Beyond. During the two-night performance, they mainly performed the works in Farewell to Ideals. BEYOND participated in the first Pan-Asian Music Festival held in Taipei and performed with top singers and musicians from Singapore, the Philippines and Japan. This is the first time BEYOND has performed in other places. Originally, there were only two performances, but due to the enthusiastic response, the organizer invited them to perform an extra performance, which made Beyond jump overjoyed, which undoubtedly strengthened their determination to rush out of Hong Kong, and they also joined guitarist Liu Zhiyuan (Zai Yuan). After returning to Hong Kong, I have to make my first record.
