According to Baidu Encyclopedia, jiaozhou city, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province, is managed by Qingdao and named Jiaojiao because it faces Jiaozhou Bay in the southeast. Banqiao has a history of more than 5,000 years in China, which was built in the Tang Dynasty. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Hong Kong prospered and maritime trade continued to prosper. It is a foreign trade port north of the Yangtze River, one of the five major commercial ports in China, an important node of the Maritime Silk Road, and is known as the "Golden Jiaozhou". It is the hometown of folk culture and art in China, yangko in China and paper-cutting in China.

Jiaozhou is an important traffic throat connecting Shandong Peninsula at home and abroad. It has a national economic and technological development zone, a 4F international airport in Shandong Province, a national airport economic demonstration zone and an airport comprehensive bonded zone. It regularly runs 24 domestic and international trains to dozens of countries along the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Belt and Road Initiative.
