Eighth route army headquarters beicun former site
The former headquarters was originally a rich man's house, which was given to four poor and middle peasants during the land reform. After the reform and opening up, the wealthy people in Beicun, under the leadership of the village party branch and with the support of the county and township party committees, raised 48,000 yuan to repair the former site of 1984 Eighth Route Army headquarters, collected more than 400 revolutionary cultural relics and established the "Beicun Memorial Hall of the Eighth Route Army Headquarters". Former president Yang named the former site "the former site of Beicun, the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army", Marshal Xu named it "Beicun Memorial Hall", and the China Revolutionary Military Museum presented statues of two big bosses, Zhu and Peng.
The former headquarters was built in the Republic of China, with an area of1200m2 and a building area of 550m2. In June 2003, the Shanxi provincial government announced that it was a provincial key cultural relics protection unit, which is a state of protection.
