Time Arrangement
Registration will be accepted from young people of appropriate age and pre-recruitment targets will be determined before October 30. The recruitment and implementation work will begin on November 1st. All counties (cities, districts) will complete the physical examination for conscription before November 15th; complete the political review visit before November 30th; complete the recruitment announcement before December 8th; and start organizing the recruitment process on December 10th. Distribute and transport new recruits; all new recruits will be transported to the army before the end of December. If new soldiers entering Tibet or Xinjiang need to be transported by air, the start time of physical examination, political review, approval and recruitment will be appropriately advanced, and the new soldiers will be transported to the airlift assembly area before November 23.
Age requirements
The young men recruited must be between 18 and 20 years old before December 31. Young men with high school graduation can be relaxed to 21 years old, and students in ordinary colleges and universities can The age limit can be relaxed to 22 years old, the age limit can be relaxed to 23 years old for vocational college graduates, and the age limit can be relaxed to 24 years old for graduates with a bachelor's degree or above. In order to meet the needs of the army, fresh graduates of high schools and students of full-time ordinary colleges and universities over the age of 17 can be recruited to join the army based on their own volition. To recruit young women, fresh graduates from ordinary high schools must be between the ages of 17 and 19 (i.e. born between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 1995), and current students of ordinary colleges and universities must be aged between 20 and over (i.e. (Born after January 1, 1992), fresh graduates are relaxed to be over 22 years old (that is, born after January 1, 1990).
Cultural conditions
For young men, the recruitment targets are mainly young people with an education level above high school (including vocational high school, technical secondary school, and technical school). Under the same conditions, priority will be given to recruiting those with high academic qualifications. Young people and recent graduates enlist in the army. Young people with non-agricultural registered permanent residence must have an education level above high school graduation, and young people with agricultural household registration must have an education level above junior high school graduation. Students from higher vocational (junior college) and secondary vocational schools who have completed professional courses and participated in internships until graduation, as well as students who are studying in full-time ordinary colleges and universities, who voluntarily apply and meet the conditions can be approved to enlist. Young women are recruited from fresh graduates of ordinary high schools and fresh graduates and current students of full-time ordinary colleges and universities. Height, vision, and weight requirements
The height for ordinary soldiers is above 162cm for male young men and above 160cm for female young soldiers. Other conditions for soldiers shall be in accordance with relevant requirements.

Registration method
This winter, our province’s female soldiers will continue to be jointly organized by the provincial and municipal recruitment offices to recruit openly from the public throughout the province.
Young female recruits must log in to the online registration system (website: ) before 18:00 on November 5, fill in the registration information and register. No additional applications will be made after that. Recruitment offices at all levels do not accept on-site registration. According to relevant notification requirements of the Ministry of National Defense, children of martyrs, compatriots and sisters, and children of active military cadres who meet the requirements should be given priority in recruitment. Priority candidates who have not entered the online primary election can apply directly with a letter of certification issued by the political department of the army unit at division level or above.
Young men must register on-site. Qualified young men can register at the village (neighborhood) committee or township (town, street) armed forces department where their permanent residence is located. They can also register directly at the county-level recruitment office. No unit or individual may refuse registration. College graduates must return to the county-level recruitment office where they registered before entering school to register. University students (including graduating students) must, in principle, register at the county-level recruitment office where their school is located. If they wish, they may also return to the place where they registered before entering school to register. When registering, bring your ID card, household registration booklet and graduation certificate. For university students (including graduating students), the certificate will be issued by the school you attend.
Incentive policies
In order to protect the legitimate interests of young people applying for recruitment, the country, provinces and cities have formulated and introduced a series of safeguard measures.
Outstanding college students and soldiers can be promoted. Full-time university graduates with three or more bachelor's degrees admitted through the national unified examination, who have performed well during their service, and who are no more than 26 years old after undergraduate graduation and no more than 29 years old after master's degree can be promoted directly. Soldiers who are full-time junior college graduates admitted through the national unified examination can participate in the undergraduate-level admissions examination uniformly organized by the entire military. Soldiers who are college graduates will be given priority when participating in the selection of outstanding soldiers for admission under the same conditions.
Arrange special proportions to recruit retired soldiers. The period when college soldiers serve in active service is regarded as grassroots work experience. During the recruitment of civil servants, political and legal police officers, and recruitment of public institutions and state-owned enterprises, special proportions will be used to recruit qualified retired soldiers. During the examination for political and legal police officers, those who have obtained a junior college degree or above from a full-time general higher education institution before joining the army will have 10 points added to their total score in the written examination of the education examination. When recruiting grass-roots professional cadres, priority will be given to recruiting outstanding retired military non-commissioned officers and college student soldiers.
Discounts for resumption of studies and further studies. Retired soldiers who have been admitted to colleges and universities before enlisting and have retained their admission qualifications or are currently studying in colleges and universities are allowed to enroll or resume school within 2 years after retiring from active service. After admission or resumption of school, students can be exempted from taking courses such as public sports, military skills and military theory, and directly obtain credits; after admission or resumption of school, they can participate in the selection of national defense students, the selection of candidates for rural grassroots service projects organized by the state, and the selection of military officers after graduation. Candidates selected will be given priority for admission. Those who take the master's degree examination within three years after retirement will add 10 points to the total score, and obtain second-class merit or above, and are recommended to enter the master's degree without taking the examination; undergraduate students who have won third-class merit or above can apply to transfer to other majors in the school, such as junior college Current students can transfer to undergraduate studies in the same major or a similar major without taking the examination. Those with a higher vocational (college) degree can enroll in adult undergraduate programs without taking the exam after retiring, or after passing certain assessments, can enroll in general undergraduate programs.
National and local governments issue subsidies. During the period of compulsory service, the local government will pay a certain amount of preferential treatment to families every year. The preferential treatment for rural conscripts shall not be lower than the local per capita net income of farmers in the previous year, and the preferential treatment for urban conscripts shall not be lower than the local minimum wage standard for on-the-job employees in urban units in the previous year. The local government will also give one-time financial rewards to conscripts who have meritorious service in the army or who voluntarily serve in remote and difficult areas. When you retire, in addition to the retirement pay from the military, the military and local government also provide you with a one-time self-employment subsidy. The state will compensate college students who are drafted into the army to perform compulsory military service for the tuition fees they pay while in school, and provide tuition assistance to college students who are returning from the military and returning to school. College students are recruited based on non-agricultural household registration. Graduates and current students (including graduating students) from full-time colleges and universities are all recruited according to non-agricultural household registration. When enlisting in the army, they will be issued a non-agricultural "Enlistment Notice" and enjoy preferential treatment standards for urban conscripts.
For college students and rural high school graduates, county-level military service agencies have opened a "green channel" to register and undergo physical examinations before the completion of the physical examination. Those who are qualified will be given priority to be approved to enlist in the army. Young people with education below high school shall not be approved to enlist in the army until all college students (including current students) who have passed the physical examination and political examination have been approved to enlist.
Free vocational education and skills training. Retired soldiers, demobilized non-commissioned officers and demobilized non-commissioned officers who choose to be self-employed can voluntarily sign up within one year from the date of retirement and can participate in vocational education and skills training organized by the government for free. Those with a junior or high school education are exempted from taking exams to attend secondary vocational schools (including technical schools) or participate in relevant professional skills training organized by vocational colleges (including technical schools).
After being discharged from the army, you can go through the employment registration procedures again. Within one year after retiring from active service, fresh graduates from colleges and universities who are serving compulsory military service can apply for an employment registration certificate again from the college where they attended based on the recruitment (employment) procedures of fresh graduates from ordinary colleges and universities. Public security departments in various places handle the household registration transfer procedures for them from their place of origin to the place of work based on the "National Employment Registration Certificate for Graduates of General Colleges and Universities" held by retired active-duty college graduates.
