When will BCG be played?
Newborns need BCG injections, but they don't need to be injected immediately after birth. So when will BCG be injected?

BCG is mainly used to prevent tuberculosis, and the vaccination time in rural and urban areas is different. Children in rural areas were vaccinated three times, after birth, 7 years old and 12 years old. It is now recommended that children in cities be vaccinated twice at birth and at the age of seven. The reason for vaccination is that BCG is a live and non-toxic bovine tuberculosis vaccine. After inoculation, with the gradual decrease of live bacteria in human body, immunity will gradually decline, so replanting should be done every few years.

Note that if the newborn is not directly vaccinated in the hospital after birth, it needs to stay in the vaccination unit for 30 minutes after vaccination. Observe carefully whether there is any abnormal reaction during the period, and make sure everything is normal before leaving. After BCG vaccination, newborns generally do not have systemic reactions such as fever. Pustules and scars left by pustules scabbing about 2 weeks after inoculation are normal reactions.
