I. The State implements preferential policies for development zones:

1. Productive enterprises of Sino-foreign joint ventures, Sino-foreign cooperative ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises (collectively referred to as development zone enterprises) established in the Development Zone shall be subject to income tax at the rate of 15%. 7. Foreigners who work in enterprises in the Development Zone or live in the Development Zone shall be exempted from customs duties and import taxes within a reasonable amount by bringing imported articles and means of transport for their own use with the supporting documents of the Development Zone Management Committee. 12 The economic and technological development zone of the city has smooth traffic and communication, sufficient water supply and power supply, and complete production and living facilities, which provides good external conditions for the development of export-oriented economy.
