In terms of finance, Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect and Bond Connect plan to connect the capital markets of Hong Kong and the Mainland, and launch the "Wealth Management Connect" to allow residents of nine cities in Hong Kong, Macao and Guangdong to sell wealth management products in banks in Greater Bay Area's cross-border investment zone.

Legally, the legal cooperation arrangement between the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government has strengthened the legal cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. Under the framework of CEPA, Hong Kong and mainland law firms set up a joint venture company in Guangdong Province, with lawyers based in Hong Kong. Mainland law firms in Greater Bay Area also employ Hong Kong legal practitioners as legal advisers.

In terms of innovation and technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the SAR Government signed the Arrangement on Strengthening Innovation and Technology Cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong in September 20 18 to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the Mainland in science and technology innovation. The two sides also signed an R&D funding agreement to encourage R&D cooperation between the two places. The brand-new "Mainland and Hong Kong Joint Funding Scheme" has been launched.
