The main equipment, turbine motor, is provided by Westinghouse, and the boiler is provided by Babko, UK. The conceptual design and external interface of the municipality directly under the Central Government are undertaken by Northeast Electric Power Design Institute.
The second phase of the project is an expansion project with a 2×660 MW supercritical unit, which has been included in the "Eleventh Five-Year" development plan by the state and put into production by the Liaoning provincial government. The second phase project will make full use of the facilities built in the first phase, save resources and investment, and shorten the construction period. Tianjin Beijiang Power Plant
Tianjin SDIC Jinneng Power Generation Co., Ltd. was established in March 2004, and was formed by SDIC Power Co., Ltd., Tianjin Jinneng Investment Company and Tianjin Luchang Hangu Salt Field Co., Ltd. with 64%, 34% and 2% investment respectively. The construction scale and installation scheme of this project shall be subject to the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission. The annual coal consumption of this project is about 403× 104t, and Shenfu Dongsheng Coal, which belongs to Shenhua Group, is planned to be used. The construction unit has signed a long-term coal supply agreement with Shenhua Coal Transportation and Marketing Company, and all the coal needed for this project is supplied by Shenhua Coal Transportation and Marketing Company.

Tianjin Panshan Power Plant is located in Jixian County, Tianjin, 25 km south of Tianjin/KLOC-0, 90km west of Beijing and 75km east of Tangshan. Located in the center of Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan and the load center of Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan power grid, it plays an extremely important role in the system.
