Is the write-off loan still included in the credit balance?
Not exactly. Non-performing loan generation rate = non-performing loan generation amount (written off during the reporting period)/(loan balance at the beginning of the year+traditional off-balance-sheet credit balance such as bank commitments, letters of credit and guarantees at the beginning of the year). Therefore, write-off loans are not included in the credit balance. Loan write-off refers to the write-off of impairment reserves for irrecoverable loans that have been confirmed as losses.
