Re-lending refers to the loans issued by the central bank to financial institutions, which is an important part of the central bank's asset business. Re-loans issued by the People's Bank of China can be divided into three categories: ① loans needed to solve the problem of insufficient liquidity; (2) Loans issued to cope with financial risks; (3) Special-purpose loans mainly include special loans from the central bank to local governments, re-loans for supporting agriculture, short-term floating loans, interest-free re-loans and re-loans from small and medium-sized financial institutions.
