What's the difference between a residence permit and an account?
Residence permit and household registration are both forms of household registration management in China, and their functions are basically the same, but there are still differences in enjoying treatment. Hukou, or hukou, is a legal document made by the household administration department of the public security organ to record and retain the basic information of the registered population. The residence permit is a proof of working and living in the local area.

4. Social security. You can apply for a social security card with an account; Holders of residence permits cannot apply. Holding an account allows children to enter school nearby according to regulations; Children with residence permits can enter school with restrictions.
