Introduction of domestic bivalent hpv vaccine

Human papillomavirus vaccine, commonly known as cervical cancer vaccine, can be used to prevent female cervical cancer, male and female genital cancer and genital warts.

There are three kinds of HPV vaccines that have been listed in the world before, namely, bivalent vaccines of HPV 16 and 18 produced by GlaxoSmithKline, UK, and HPV6, 1 1 6 and 18 produced by Merck, USA.

The bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine, with the trade name of Xinkening, is the first HPV vaccine declared for production in China, and has been included in the national special support for the creation of major new drugs of human papillomavirus HPV 16 and 18. The price of Xinkening is 329 yuan/tablet. Women aged 9- 14 only need 2 stitches, and women aged 15-45 only need 3 stitches.

Different from the insect cell production system of GlaxoSmithKline bivalent human papillomavirus vaccine and the recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae production system of Merck HPV vaccine, Xinkening uses DNA recombination technology to express virus-like particle antigen in Escherichia coli and use it in vaccine production, and its production system has high productivity and low cost. The research data show that the product safety and effectiveness indexes of Xinkening have reached the international advanced level. The product was tested in the third phase of clinical trials among 7372 healthy women in five provinces of China, and the results showed that the domestic vaccine was safe.
