1. If it is a legal debt, it is illegal to maliciously collect debts and slander others by distributing leaflets;
2. If it is a legal debt, it is not illegal to send leaflets to collect debts, and it is not illegal to slander others.
Invasion of privacy is defined as follows:
1 invasion of privacy. First of all, it must be illegal to violate the right to privacy;
2. The fact that the right to privacy has been violated. Privacy is a kind of information, an activity, a space field and a secret state. The damage to privacy is manifested in privacy being snooped, monitored, invaded, published, disturbed and interfered;
3. Causality of invasion of privacy. It means that there is an inherent, inevitable and regular connection between the illegal act of infringing privacy and the fact of damaging privacy;
4. Subjective fault of infringing privacy. The perpetrator who violates the right to privacy must be subjectively at fault. It is mainly intentional, that is, foreseeing the consequences of infringement of privacy but hoping or letting such consequences happen.
The elements of invasion of privacy are as follows:
1, the actor is subjectively at fault;
2. There are illegal acts that infringe on the privacy of others;
3. Damage results occur;
4. There is a causal relationship between the damage result and the tort.
In a word, privacy is something we don't want others to know. Citizens have the right to privacy, and we should respect the privacy of others. However, some people may have special hobbies, like to expose others' privacy and infringe others' rights, which requires legal responsibility.

Article 1032 of the Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC)
Natural persons have the right to privacy. No organization or individual may infringe upon the privacy rights of others by spying, harassing, revealing or making public.
Privacy is the private space, private activities and private information that natural people live peacefully and don't want to be known by others.
Article 1033
Unless otherwise provided by law or expressly agreed by the obligee, no organization or individual may commit the following acts:
(a) by telephone, SMS, instant messaging tools, e-mail, leaflets, etc. Disturb the private life of others;
(2) Entering, taking photos and peeping into other people's private spaces such as houses and hotel rooms;
(3) Shooting, peeping, eavesdropping or revealing the privacy of others;
(4) Shooting or peeping at other people's private parts;
(5) Handling other people's private information;
(6) Infringe upon the privacy of others in other ways.
