The crime of illegally granting loans will be punished with at least criminal detention, with a term of imprisonment ranging from one month to six months, and the combined penalty for several crimes shall not exceed one year. If a unit commits the crime of illegally granting loans, the unit shall be fined, and the person directly in charge and other directly responsible personnel shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of individual crimes.

Work of banks or other financial institutions Anyone who violates the provisions of laws and administrative regulations by extending loans to others other than related parties, causing heavy losses, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention, and shall also be fined not less than 10,000 yuan but not more than 100,000 yuan; if a particularly heavy loss is caused, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years and a fine of not less than 20,000 yuan but not more than 200,000 yuan.
