Students enrolled in institutions of higher learning before compulsory military service (including freshmen admitted according to the national enrollment regulations) will retain their school status or admission qualifications according to the relevant provisions of the state during their service, and will be exempted from tuition fees if they voluntarily return to school or enroll after retirement; Tuition fees are reduced for freshmen who retire, start their own businesses, pass the national unified college entrance examination or higher vocational classification recruitment, and report to the school.
Tuition compensation and loan compensation standards
Tuition compensation, national student loan compensation and tuition reduction shall be implemented for college students who have been enlisted for compulsory military service, enlisted as noncommissioned officers, and returned to school or enrolled after retirement. The amount of tuition compensation or national student loan compensation shall be determined according to the higher of the tuition actually paid by the students or the national student loan (including the principal and the interest generated before full repayment); The amount of tuition fee reduction or exemption after resumption of schooling or freshmen's admission shall be implemented according to the actual tuition fee charged by colleges and universities.
Tuition fee compensation, national student loan compensation and tuition fee remission standards shall not exceed 12000 yuan per student per year. The part exceeding the standard shall not be compensated, compensated or reduced.
The period of tuition compensation, loan compensation or tuition remission is one academic year of full-time general higher education. If you return to school or become a scholar after entering school, it will not be included in the scope of tuition reduction; Joining the army for the second time after studying a higher level of education can enjoy the funding of a higher level of education than the first time.
State subsidy
The national grant is to show the concern of the party and the government for students from poor families in ordinary undergraduate colleges, higher vocational colleges and junior colleges. Funded jointly by the central and local governments, it is used to subsidize full-time students with financial difficulties in ordinary undergraduate colleges (including higher vocational colleges and second bachelor's degrees).
