Article 93 The traffic administrative department of the public security organ shall make a traffic accident determination within 10 days after the completion of the on-site investigation. Article 94 If the parties are in dispute over the compensation for traffic accident damage and all parties unanimously request the traffic administrative department of the public security organ to mediate, they shall submit a written application for mediation within 10 days from the date of receiving the traffic accident confirmation.

If a traffic accident leads to death, mediation shall be started from the date when the funeral is settled; For injuries caused by traffic accidents, mediation begins from the date of treatment or disability; If a traffic accident causes property losses, mediation shall begin from the date of determining the losses.
