1. Loan Policy

Credit student loans from the student’s place of origin are applied for, approved and issued on an annual basis. The loan applied for by each borrower each year generally does not exceed the total of tuition and accommodation fees charged by the school, and the maximum amount does not exceed 8,000 yuan. The application period is from July to September each year. In principle, the term of the credit student loan for the student's place of origin is determined based on the full-time undergraduate program plus 10 years, and the maximum period shall not exceed 14 years. Among them, current students are determined based on their remaining years of study plus 10 years. If the schooling lasts for more than 4 years or if students continue to study for a postgraduate degree or a second bachelor's degree, the loan repayment period after graduation will be shortened accordingly.

The interest rate of credit student loans in the student’s place of origin shall be based on the benchmark interest rate of the same grade announced by the People’s Bank of China at the same time and will not rise.

Interest on credit student loans from the student’s place of origin is calculated annually. The interest while students are in school will be fully subsidized by the finance department, and the interest after graduation will be borne jointly by the students and their parents (or other legal guardians).

2. Application conditions

1. The family has financial difficulties and the income they can obtain is not enough to cover the basic expenses required to complete their studies at school;
