1. The purpose of the loan is to pay tuition and fees, transportation expenses and living expenses for individuals studying abroad. The longest loan shall not exceed 10 years (inclusive), and the sum of the borrower's age and loan term shall not exceed 70 years (inclusive). The loan period can exceed the borrower's school years, and the specific period is determined according to the borrower's school years and guarantee methods.

2. The loan period for individual students studying abroad with study abroad deposit as the loan purpose is determined in principle according to the deposit period required by the embassy (or relevant institutions in the destination area of study abroad), study abroad schools or study abroad intermediaries, and the longest period shall not exceed the borrower's study period.
