It is quite troublesome. You need to go through proper channels and have certain documents to obtain a study abroad loan. Postgraduate students applying for study abroad loans need to prepare the following materials:

1. Valid identity documents of the study abroad loan applicants, including original ID cards, household registers or other valid residence documents, and valid identity certificates of the educated persons. Overseas schools must present the original passport or pass of the educated person and provide a copy of it for archiving.

2. Proof of the relationship between the borrower and the educated person and the birth certificate of the educated person.

3. Proof of a stable occupation and stable economic income of the student loan applicant.

4. The "Admission Notice" from the school where the educated is studying, and the certification documents issued by the school for the total amount of tuition and miscellaneous fees required for the student's study period.

5. If property is used as a mortgage or pledge, a list of mortgages, pledges, and a commitment or statement signed by the person with the right to dispose of the property (including the owner of the property) agreeing to the mortgage or pledge should be provided.

6. Original and copy of personal savings passbook or credit card issued at the lending bank.
