How to offset the housing loan with the balance of provident fund account?
The operation of using the balance of the provident fund account to offset the housing loan is as follows:

1. The borrower applies to the housing provident fund loan bank with the materials;

2, the bank staff according to the materials provided by the borrower after the audit;

3. The borrower signed the Application for Early Repayment of Personal Loan, Power of Attorney for Withdrawing Housing Provident Fund and Power of Attorney for Applying for Housing Provident Fund Repayment on the spot. (When the balance of the housing provident fund account of the borrower and his spouse is insufficient, the entrusted repayment agreement will be automatically terminated);

4. The housing provident fund loan bank will send the relevant materials to the municipal provident fund center for review, and the qualified materials will be sent to the bank for deduction by the municipal provident fund center.

The materials required to offset the housing loan with the balance of the provident fund account are as follows:

1. Original contract of bank housing provident fund loan;

2. The original and photocopy of the ID card and marriage certificate of both husband and wife 1 copy;

3. Special discount for housing provident fund.

Legal basis:

Article 24 of the Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund

In any of the following circumstances, employees may withdraw the storage balance in the employee housing provident fund account:

(a) the purchase, construction, renovation and overhaul of owner-occupied housing;

(2) retirement;

(three) completely lose the ability to work, and terminate the labor relationship with the unit;

(4) Having left the country to settle down;

(5) Repaying the principal and interest of the house purchase loan;

(six) the rent exceeds the prescribed proportion of family wage income.

In accordance with the provisions of items (2), (3) and (4) of the preceding paragraph, the employee housing provident fund account shall be cancelled at the same time.

If an employee dies or is declared dead, the employee's heirs and legatees may withdraw the storage balance in the employee's housing provident fund account; If there is no heir or legatee, the storage balance in the employee housing provident fund account shall be included in the value-added income of the housing provident fund.
