Lianyungang Housing Provident Fund Management Center was established according to the relevant spirit of the Notice of the State Council on Further Strengthening the Management of Housing Provident Fund (Guo Fa [2002] 12). For the purpose of making profits, it is an independent institution directly under the municipal government, which was put into operation in April 2003. It is a public fund management institution responsible for managing the housing provident fund paid by administrative organs at all levels, enterprises and institutions, and various industry units and individuals within the administrative area of Lianyungang City. Its main responsibilities are: first, to formulate and implement the plan for the collection and use of housing provident fund; The second is to record the deposit, withdrawal and use of employee housing provident fund; The third is to be responsible for the accounting of housing provident fund; The fourth is to approve the extraction and use of housing provident fund; The fifth is to be responsible for the preservation and return of housing provident fund; The sixth is to prepare a report on the implementation of the housing provident fund collection and use plan; Seventh, undertake other matters decided by the Housing Provident Fund Management Committee.
My office consists of five functional departments, namely collection management department, loan management department, accounting department, audit supervision department and comprehensive department. In April 2009, the city business department and the eastern urban management department were added. According to the principle of territorial management, four management departments are set up in Donghai County, Ganyu County, Guanyun County and guannan county City, and each management department and center implements unified system, unified management and unified accounting, and is specifically responsible for the management of housing provident fund within their respective responsibilities.
