What should I do if I encounter online loan fraud?
Recently, a news about "online loan scam" has aroused widespread concern. Mr. Xiao from Leshan, Sichuan was defrauded of more than 60,000 yuan for handling online micro-loans. The other party first asked Mr. Xiao for 5,000 yuan to unfreeze the money on the grounds that the bank card number was incorrectly entered, and then asked him to transfer 60,000 yuan on the grounds of operational errors until Mr. Xiao realized that he was cheated and called the police for help. Network traps are hard to prevent, how to deal with them?

First, there is no threshold scam.

At present, many online lending platforms in the market will attract users' attention under the banner of "no mortgage, no guarantee and no threshold", and use users' psychology of "rushing to the hospital" to set up scams, claiming that as long as they pay the loan deposit, loan approval fee and loan packaging fee, they can successfully make the next payment. But in fact, it is an unreasonable way to pay first and then lend. General formal financial institutions will only charge corresponding fees after lending. So the so-called deposit, loan management fee, consultant fee and so on are illegal.

Second, assist the loan scam.

This scam is under the guise of "helping the next payment". First, ask the victim to provide personal basic information such as ID card and bank card, and then ask the victim for a certain fee and bank flow through customer service. After paying the money, I found that people went to the building and leaked personal information in vain. The easiest way to deal with this scam is to apply for a loan through formal channels. Don't believe in the behavior of "charging first and lending later".

Third, repair credit fraud.

Loans can't come down, often because the borrower's credit qualification is problematic, because banks and formal financial institutions have very strict requirements on the borrower's credit information, and users with black credit information or poor credit information will often be refused loan applications. As a result, criminals simply started this business and defrauded the victims of money in the name of "washing white credit". In fact, no matter whether the central bank's credit information system can be artificially disturbed, it can only be improved slowly by reducing its own lending frequency.

In short, borrowing money must follow two principles. One is to borrow money from formal financial institutions. In addition, don't pay before lending, and don't transfer money to strangers easily, so as to avoid stepping on more than 90% of online loan pits.
