Sun drying for half a day to 1 day before steaming can make the petals whiter and reduce the moisture in the flowers, which is easy to dry. 2 steamed flowers. Don't pile the flowers in the steamer too thick. Steamed thin, good color and easy to dry. The firepower of steaming flowers should be fierce and even, and it takes about 4 ~ 5 minutes to steam a cage. If steamed for too long, the flowers will become wet, not easy to dry, and the color will turn yellow; If steamed too short, flowers will appear and the color will be white. When the wind blows, it will turn reddish brown. Three sunflowers. As soon as the steamed flowers came out of the cage, they fell on the curtain. After airing for 2 ~ 3 days, turn it over and air it for 2 ~ 3 days, and then spread it on the curtain until the flower heart is completely hardened. Pay attention to dried flowers, and do not pinch, fold or roll them when they are not dry, so as not to turn chrysanthemums into snails.
(2) chrysanthemum. When the flowers are in full bloom and the petals are generally white, even the stems should be cut off, tied into small bundles and hung upside down in a ventilated and dry place to dry. You should not expose yourself to the sun, otherwise the fragrance will be poor. When the air is 80% dry, you can pick the flowers and smoke them with sulfur in the fumigation room. After smoking, it can be spread in the sun 1 day to dry, and then put into wooden cases or bamboo baskets, lined with kraft paper, and compacted and stored layer by layer.
(3) Chu opera. After picking chrysanthemums, dry them in the shade, smoke them into white, and when they are 60% dry, sieve the flower heads into spheres with a bamboo sieve, and then completely dry them. Don't turn it by hand when drying, you can turn it gently with bamboo chopsticks.
(4) Palace drama. After picking chrysanthemums, they are dried in a drying room, and smokeless charcoal is used as fuel. The temperature of that dry chamber is control between 40 and 50 DEG C.. When drying, spread the chrysanthemum thinly on the bamboo curtain. When the first round of chrysanthemums is 90% dry, turn to the second round. The temperature of the second round is about 30 ~ 40℃ lower than that of the first round. When the color is dry to ivory white, it can be taken out of the drying room and placed in a ventilated and dry place until it is completely dry. The chrysanthemum processed by this method is fragrant, sweet, bright and white, with less loss of volatile oil, which is better than that of dried, fumigated and steamed chrysanthemums. Especially chrysanthemum is polluted by sulfur and sulfide, which seriously affects the quality and hygiene of medicinal chrysanthemum.
Chrysanthemum products with large flowers, white or bright yellow flowers, thick or dense petals and fragrant air are preferred.
