New progress has been made in nine comprehensive urban and rural environmental improvement projects with an investment of nearly 2 billion yuan to improve Nanning's urban and rural environment. Recently, it was learned from Nanning Development and Reform Commission that the Development and Reform Commission will actively seek loans from the World Bank, organize relevant departments and project owners to speed up the preliminary work of the project, and make every effort to turn the project into a demonstration project using loans from international financial organizations in our region. In order to implement the decision of the Party committee and government of the autonomous region to carry out the "urban and rural clean project" deeply and persistently, and meet the needs of building Nanning into a regional international city, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, after in-depth investigation, took the lead in organizing the Municipal Finance Bureau, Planning Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau and other relevant departments, the Water Conservancy Bureau and the World Bank Office to seriously study, and planned and organized some projects in the field of environmental protection to become comprehensive urban and rural environmental improvement projects in Nanning. With the approval of the municipal government, it applied for a loan from the World Bank.

It is understood that the comprehensive improvement project of urban and rural environment in Nanning, which is loaned by the World Bank, includes nine sub-projects including the inland river ecological environment improvement project and the urban and rural sewage treatment plant project, among which (1) the inland river ecological environment improvement project includes three sub-projects of the Mingxi River, Shibu River and Shiling River ecological environment comprehensive improvement project; (II) Urban and rural sewage treatment plant project construction includes six subprojects, including the second phase project of Jiangnan sewage treatment plant, Wuming County, Binyang County, Hengxian County, Shanglin County and mashan county Sewage Treatment Plant project, with a total treatment capacity of 435,000 tons/day. The total investment of the project is about 654.38+93.3 billion yuan, of which the loan from the World Bank is 654.38+0 billion dollars, accounting for 40.25% of the total investment. State funds, commercial bank loans and financial funds are about165438+55 million yuan, accounting for 59.75% of the total project investment.

The relevant person in charge of the Nanning Municipal Development and Reform Commission said that the project has carried out overall design, overall consideration and comprehensive planning for environmental improvement projects in urban areas and counties, which has been highly praised and strongly supported by the National Development and Reform Commission, and initially agreed that the project should be included in the national foreign capital utilization plan. The construction of these projects will play a great role in creating a good urban inland river ecological environment in Nanning, building a relatively complete urban and rural sewage treatment system, further improving the ecological environment in Nanning, upgrading the city's taste, consolidating the foundation for the sustainable development of Nanning's social and economic environment, and improving and improving Nanning's living environment, environmental protection, flood control safety, sustainable economic development and people's living standards.
