The Foundation for Poverty Alleviation is registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and the competent authority is the State Council Poverty Alleviation Office. China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation is a 5A-level foundation, which is the highest level among foundations.
1. The Poverty Alleviation Foundation is a welfare fund organization called by the government. A few wealthy households donate or sponsor to raise some funds, which are specially used to support poor households through loans. Its business activities are basically non-operating, not for profit, and there are many social welfare factors, but its business content is capital lending, which belongs to low-level cooperative financial organizations.
Three, the projects of the foundation for poverty alleviation can be mainly divided into aid projects and advocacy projects.
1. The main form of aid projects is direct aid, aiming at solving poverty factors. The factors affecting poverty mainly include disaster assistance, education to help growth, hygiene and health, and so on. Specific projects mainly include micro-loan projects, love packages, emergency rescue projects, student aid projects, beautiful countryside construction projects, international aid projects, etc.
2. Advocacy projects focus more on mobilizing social forces and calling for attention to the poor, so as to gather more manpower and material resources to participate in poverty alleviation actions.
