What is the role of banks?
Nowadays, banks are basically commercial banks (policy banks are also being transformed into commercial banks), which are responsible for providing credit, supporting local economic development and assuming certain social responsibilities, but they are all enterprises. Some are state-owned banks (the four major banks have their own functions before, and the loan direction is different. Now, it's basically the same), and some are small and medium-sized joint-stock banks. There is no difference in business scope. There are differences in specific credit policies, marketing strategies, products and competitiveness.
