The author recently conducted an investigation and interview on the development status and existing problems of flowers and trees industry in Shuyang. At present, there are 265,000 mu of flowers and trees in this county, and the population engaged in flower production is 6,543.8+0.3 million, with a total output value of more than 2 billion yuan, and the total annual management of flowers and trees is 65.438+0.2 billion yuan. There are 6.5438+0.5 million professional flower brokers in the county, and there are more than 2,000 large households that manage flowers and trees through computers. There are many problems in the flower and tree industry in Shuyang. It is more difficult to extend the surface. Flower farmers in old flower areas such as Xinhe and Yanji have basically completed the original capital accumulation of flowers and trees and have rich management experience. Now they are eager to expand the scale of production and operation. However, in recent years, due to the exemption of agricultural tax, the introduction of grain support policies, the rise in food prices, the increase in farmers' income from growing grain, and the introduction of new land contracting policies and regulations by the state, the land rent has increased, making it more difficult to transfer flowers and trees, and it is more difficult to expand the area of the county. The main varieties are aging and the technology is relatively backward. Such as juniper, boxwood, Sabina vulgaris and other flowers and trees with high original benefits, the prices of these flowers and trees have been declining year by year because of the large seedling base and the continuous renewal of seedling varieties, and the benefits are getting lower and lower, making it difficult to sell, resulting in the income of some small-scale flower farmers or small enterprises falling instead of rising. At the same time, because the cutting method that consumes a lot of labor is still the main breeding method of flowers and trees, the cost increases, and many new excellent flowers and trees are not suitable for cutting, so it is urgent to introduce, demonstrate and popularize new breeding techniques. The strength of leading enterprises is not strong, and the total amount is not much. Up to now, only four enterprises in the county have the second-class construction qualification of national landscaping. Due to the small number and weak strength of leading enterprises, it is difficult to promote the faster development of the flower and tree industry which will expand by 300,000 mu in the county by the end of this year. The degree of organization is low and the industrial chain is short. In this county, the production and sales of flowers and trees are mainly based on families, and the government departments lack special flower management institutions and effective guidance and coordination. Most flower farmers mainly adjust varieties with price changes, and the number of efficient potted flowers, bonsai and high-grade fresh cut flowers is very small. The integrity of individual operators has affected the overall image of Shuyang. Some flower farmers and brokers are eager for quick success and instant benefit, so they can't abide by the law in the process of selling flowers and trees, and they take measures such as shoddy, fraud, and even extortion and selling buy buy, which left a bad and deep impression on the merchants. In view of the present situation and development trend of flowers and trees, relevant experts suggest that the following countermeasures should be taken in the production of flowers and trees in Shuyang. Strengthen support, guidance and demonstration to expand leading enterprises. Leading enterprises have abundant funds, well-informed information and strong technical force, and their pulling effect on the industry is better than the sum of ten million flower farmers in Qian Qian. They can not only promote the production and sales of local flowers and trees, but also rely on their own economic strength and technical strength to introduce and popularize new varieties and technologies for adaptability tests, which is conducive to improving the variety grade and cultivation management technology level of flowers and trees in the county. Strengthen the vertical contact with higher-level scientific research institutions, and actively carry out horizontal development with large counties of flowers and trees in China. We should not only keep a close eye on the changes of national, provincial and municipal industrial policies, but also communicate with scientific research institutes to understand the future trends and leading varieties of urban landscaping in time, prepare in advance, take the initiative to adapt, and form our own regional characteristics as soon as possible. Severely crack down on fraud, deception and other acts that damage the image of Shuyang in the marketing process of flowers and trees. Corresponding organizations should be established to regulate and manage the flower and tree trading market, educate the majority of flower and tree business households and flower farmers to operate in good faith and abide by the law, and create a gold-lettered signboard of "Honest Shuyang". Relevant functional departments should quickly form a joint force to contribute to the development of flowers and trees in Shuyang. All functional departments should closely coordinate and strengthen cooperation to create good external conditions for the production and sales of flowers and trees. Agriculture, industry and township governments can coordinate the land needed by flower farmers and do a good job in land transfer; Agriculture and forestry departments provide consultation and sales information on new technologies and varieties to flower farmers; Credit cooperatives and other financial departments should increase the loan amount; According to the overall planning of flowers and trees, the Water Conservancy Bureau adjusts the irrigation and drainage system around the nursery in advance; Combined with rural road construction, the transportation department will focus on laying transportation roads in newly expanded flower areas; The power supply department should set up pole lines in time to provide sufficient power for flower farmers' production.
