Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is an intergovernmental multilateral development institution in Asia. Focusing on supporting infrastructure construction, it aims to promote the process of interconnection and economic integration in Asia and strengthen cooperation between China and other Asian countries and regions. It is the first multilateral financial institution initiated by China, headquartered in Beijing, with a legal capital of 654.38+000 billion US dollars. As of July 20 19, AIIB had 100 member countries.
