Notice on Adjusting the Minimum Wage Standard for Enterprises in Guizhou Province

In order to implement the Ministry of Labor and Social Security's "Notice on Further Improving the Minimum Wage System" (issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security [2007] 20) document, protect workers’ legitimate rights and interests in obtaining labor remuneration, ensure that the actual level of the minimum wage will not decrease due to the increase in the consumer price index, and will gradually increase with economic growth, so that ordinary workers can fully enjoy the fruits of economic development. Based on the actual situation of our province, it was decided to make appropriate adjustments to the minimum wage standard in our province. The minimum wage standards for enterprises in our province, which have been reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and approved by the Provincial People's Government, are now announced as follows:

1. The minimum wage standards are:

1. Monthly minimum wage standards

Class I areas: adjusted from 550 yuan to 650 yuan;

Class II areas: adjusted from 500 yuan to 600 yuan;

III Category 1 area: adjusted from 450 yuan to 550 yuan;

2. Hourly minimum wage for part-time workers

Category 1 area: adjusted from 6.3 yuan to 6.9 yuan;

Class II area: adjusted from 5.7 yuan to 6.4 yuan;

Class III area: adjusted from 5.1 yuan to 5.9 yuan;

2. The monthly minimum wage standard includes the pension insurance premiums, medical insurance premiums, unemployment insurance premiums and housing provident funds payable by individual employees; the hourly minimum wage standard for part-time employees also includes The employer shall pay basic pension insurance premiums and basic medical insurance premiums.

3. The minimum wage standard applies to all types of enterprises, state agencies, institutions, social groups and workers with whom they have established labor contracts in our province.

4. Each employer shall publicize the minimum wage standard to all workers in the unit within 10 days after it is released, and implement it conscientiously.

5. The above standards will be implemented from November 1, 2007.
