When employees buy, build, decorate or overhaul their own houses in Suzhou, they can apply for housing provident fund loans from the center. Suzhou Metropolitan Area includes gusu district, Wuzhong District, Xiangcheng District, High-tech Zone, Industrial Park, Wujiang District, Kunshan, Changshu, Zhangjiagang and Taicang. Workers can apply for housing provident fund loans only after purchasing the designated housing that has been identified. The designated houses mainly include: (1) ordinary commercial houses, townhouses (residences) and serviced apartments that have obtained the Commercial House Sales (Pre-sale) Permit and have been examined and filed by the Center, and can be included in the housing provident fund loan houses. (2) Complete sets of housing stocks that have obtained housing ownership certificates and state-owned land use certificates can be included in housing provident fund loan housing.
