The reporter learned from the Provincial Civil Affairs Department yesterday that this year, on the basis of further improving the urban and rural medical assistance system, our province has expanded the beneficiary groups and types of urban and rural medical assistance, and also adjusted the subsidy standards to allow more difficult groups to enjoy serious illness assistance.
According to the regulations, the beneficiaries of urban and rural medical assistance include urban and rural minimum living allowances, rural five-guarantee households, key special care recipients, urban and rural low-income people and people who are poor due to illness.
