Legal analysis: the man's loan belongs to pre-marital debt, which should be borne by the man himself legally. However, we return to real life, assuming that the man will pay part of his salary to repay the loan every month after marriage, which will inevitably affect the quality of life of both men and women after marriage.

Legal basis: Article 5 (1) of the Supreme People's Court's Interpretation on the Application of Marriage and Family in the Civil Code of China, if a party requests to return the bride price paid according to custom, the people's court shall support it if it is found that it belongs to the following circumstances:

(1) Both parties have not gone through the marriage registration formalities;

(2) Both parties have gone through the marriage registration formalities, but they have not lived together;

(3) premarital payment, causing difficulties to the payer.

The application of items 2 and 3 of the preceding paragraph is conditional on the divorce of both parties.
