1. Go to the lending institution to get back the vehicle registration certificate and ask it to show the loan settlement certificate.

2. Go to the DMV to cancel the mortgage registration and delete the mortgage registration data on the vehicle registration certificate.

3. If installed, go to the 4S store or other places to remove the GPS locator.
