Anti-lock braking system is abbreviated as ABS. The function is to automatically control the braking force of the brake when the car brakes, so that the wheels are not locked and are in a rolling state (the slip rate is about 20%), so as to ensure the maximum adhesion between the wheels and the ground. Anti-lock braking system can improve the safety factor of emergency braking when the vehicle is driving. In other words, cars without ABS are prone to tire lock, that is, the steering wheel can't turn, so the risk factor will increase, which will easily lead to serious consequences.
The ECU of ABS system has the functions of fault protection, fault memory and self-diagnosis. When the system fails, ECU can automatically close the ABS system and start the ordinary braking system. The fault memory and self-diagnosis function of ABS provide data information for analyzing and troubleshooting.
